Wher-rena Boatland is the oldest boat registration spot around Lake Norman.  We handle boat registration renewal as well as all the paperwork required for a boat transfer.  When you leave our dealership, you will have a temporary registration and be ready to legally get on the water right away.

Boat registration renewal (for 3 years) - $40 - No information needed.  Just stop in, it only takes 5 minutes.

Boat Transfer - $60 for 3 year registration and title - If you just purchased a boat from a NC resident, you will need a title or a notarized bill of sale.  Some NC boats do not have titles.  If there is a title, just bring it in, notarized, and we will process the transfer.  If there is no title, you will need a notarized bill of sale.  If there was a title but it has been lost, you will need a statement of lost title and a bill of sale, both notarized.  These forms are available at THIS LINK.

The easiest way to know whether the boat you are buying has a title or not is to look on the registration card.  If there is a "Y" under the title, it has a title.  If it does not have a title it will have an "N" or be blank.  If you don't have the registration card, just call us with the NC registration number and we can look it up.

Just Moved to NC - $60 - If you've just moved to NC and need to register your boat here, you will need the title from your previous state.  If the state you came from does not have titles for boats, you will need the registration card.  You will then get a NC title in your name and a 3 year boat registraiton.

Custom Boat Letters - $30 - Wher-rena makes custom boat letters in any color and font.  For $30, you will have the custom letters mailed to you within about 1 week.  This will be 2 stickers that are easier to apply than individual letters.  We also sell individual letter kits in black and white for about $15.
